Riverland race event – your vote needed

The Adelaide Speedboat Club is looking for your support in obtaining funding for an event in Loxton, SA.  The SA Government is offering funding for events that receive the most support, so head over to yoursay.sa.gov.au/ideas/powerboat-racing-event and give them your support!

Remember – vote early, vote often!

SQPBC race day – Yeronga 31 August 2014

South Queensland Power Boat Club will be holding its next club race day at Yeronga on 31 August 2014.  This is a great opportunity to enjoy a day of low-pressure power boat racing and, if nothing else, a great opportunity to do some test and tune work on your boat.  It’s also the last race day of the current licence year, so a chance to get a bit more value from your licence 😉

All classes will be catered for – call Mary McMillan on 0408-756631 or Grant Jones on 0408-278 792 for further information or to advise the club that you’ll be competing.

Congratulations to 2014 World Champions

Congratulations to Troy Marland for winning the 2014 UIM Unlimited Displacement World Championship (driving ‘Madness’) and the 2014 UIM 6.0 Litre Displacement World Championship (driving ‘Sick Puppy’), held at Taree, NSW this past weekend.  Congratulations also to Rhys Coles for his win in the 2014 SST120 Global Challenge.

Let’s not forget to congratulate Qld Driver Alf Ebborn (driving ‘Airborne’) for a well-deserved 2nd placing in the  2014 UIM Unlimited Displacement World Championship!
