SQPBC race day – Yeronga 31 August 2014

South Queensland Power Boat Club will be holding its next club race day at Yeronga on 31 August 2014.  This is a great opportunity to enjoy a day of low-pressure power boat racing and, if nothing else, a great opportunity to do some test and tune work on your boat.  It’s also the last race day of the current licence year, so a chance to get a bit more value from your licence 😉

All classes will be catered for – call Mary McMillan on 0408-756631 or Grant Jones on 0408-278 792 for further information or to advise the club that you’ll be competing.

Venue is Brisbane Corso, Yeronga:

Sponsorship opportunity – 2014 Lockyer PowerFest

This is your last chance to come on board as a sponsor of Lockyer Powerfest 2014. We are now in the final stages of our planning of our souvenir booklet, programs, media and radio advertising. If you know anyone or you yourself are interested in supporting your club’s event, then please let us now asap – either ring Craig Lewis on 0408 748 142 or email us at craig.lewis6@bigpond.com Sponsorship has a number of benefits, including corporate tickets, promotion of your business/organisation/team by our commentators over the weekend, advertising of your business logo on the big LED TV screen (at the venue) and additional print and social media promotion.

In addition, the club is offering a corporate facility on both days, which is professionally catered (food and alcohol) and will also include guided pit tours. Tickets can be purchased for as little as $70 per head and we can accommodate as many numbers as you would like. Please notify us if you have any intention of purchasing tickets in the corporate area. Payment will need to be received 1 week prior to the event, for catering purposes.
